I've always felt this about the difference between intelligence and knowledge.
Some 'know' a lot of things because they read it but few can actually learn new things at accelerated rates and synthesize information in a meaningful way.
Hey maybe some of those 62 million died multiple times!
In other news, Donald Trump remains very, very bad at numbers.
A better role for Kash would have been some type of consultancy where he pointed out the Strzok and Paige ideologues who were absolutely going to put “Get/Stop Trump” above their actual job. Unfortunately the bureaucracy played too many games with 45 and he wasn’t going to tolerate it as 47. I can sympathize with both. Trump has to see that Patel isn’t up to the job. Even Patel has to see it. But he also knows that Patel isn’t going to sabotage him. This is why career government workers should do their job in a nonpartisan way. The consequences of their thumbs on the scale are far reaching.
And Kash Patel is an idiot.
