Schwarber just had a career year at 32 years old thanks to an enormous jump in his HR/FB rate (from a career avg of 25% to 40%). He also has a non-existent hit tool and he’s unathletic. Those type of players don’t typically age well. He also can’t do anything but be a DH, so he doesn’t fit the team.

Not only did the ball clearly hit the bat first, the batter was squared up to bunt anyway and was offering. So, if it’s not foul it should’ve been a live ball.

Just complete fuckery all the way around.

I'm wondering if the later part can be reviewed or not since HBP was what was called.

It's kind of shit that some plays can't be reviewed for whatever reason.
