Yeah, I’m not thirsting for the Joy Reid-Nick Fuentes debate. But the ones that can actually make their arguments coherently and logically shouldn’t be afraid to platform Fuentes. If you’re a liberal talking head and think your audience will suddenly jump to Fuentes if you give him your platform, maybe you should get better at arguing.

I meant it more as a hypothetical. I think the echo chamber and media environment on the left has pretty exclusively elevated the dumbest, most dogmatic voices of the left and we need to start looking at some of the rural town/red state legislators that are willing to have conversations with conservatives and build up the political party through people who actually want to do things to make it easier to employ people and build housing but also think women should vote and the Army shouldn’t be deployed domestically. That environment can maybe attract better voices and candidates than what is currently an overly conform-or-go away culture on the left.

It is interesting that personalities on the right never shy away from debating personalities on the left. But personalities on the left always hide behind the excuse of "platforming someone" to avoid debating their ideas.

This isn’t really all that true, and is becoming increasingly untrue with the MAGA Dogma overtaking so much of conservative discourse.

Well I'm sure our friends will provide some examples. As they have noted it's not complex. There is undoubtedly a massive list of people who have declined invitations to debate Nick Fuentes and other figures on the right.
