Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Most people in the West now see this. Its too late for the UK/France/Germany. They have been taken over by the Muslim hordes. Maybe we can liberate them in 50 years with an alliance of the US/Central&Eastern Europe. Its going to get ugly.
I miss 90s mall culture, but that wasn't killed by importanting muslims or whatever retarded take you have. First big box stores. like Walmart and Target heavily ate into the malls. But it really died when internet shopping took over.

Still find nice malls in a lot of places but sadly the 3rd places are done. No malls, no arcades, etc. No places for kids to just go places and hang and we wonder why people lose their social knowledge and had no social skills and don't want to date, etc.

What can Mr. Trump do? He can start acting like a traditional, pro-growth Republican. Pivot to the party’s historic supply-side strength. Ditch the populist mumbo jumbo about tariffs, subsidies and redistribution. Stop trying to jawbone the Fed on interest rates. Americans don’t want welfare. They’ve never wanted it. They want to work and take care of their families. And they’re smart enough to know that having everything in their shopping carts say Made in the USA isn’t necessarily a good deal.

Voters—that is, adults—want a growing economy that keeps inflation at bay and creates opportunities for work and investment. That’s all they’ve ever wanted from Washington. Republicans across the country should focus on shrinking the government and promoting economic dynamism. Instead of trying to buy voters with mailbox money, let people keep more of their weekly paychecks.
The author hasn’t been keeping track of his countrymen. There is a massive swath of the US that absolutely wants welfare instead of the opportunity to work. Even Romney admitted as much with his 47%er comments, to the detriment of his campaign. This idealized image of the electorate was mostly true when America was at its peak during the early Cold War. It’s trended down ever since and is more false than true today.

I suspect that most of us know people who are professional welfare recipients. I think of them as “Dolists” because it was a term used for those same people in a solid sci-fi book I read. One party preached economic responsibility and freedom. The other told people why they should be aggrieved and not have to work anymore. The latter party continuously gained more control until more than half the population was on the Dole, cementing the control of the Dolist party and the fate of the nation. Their only path forward was to continue to conquer other nations and strip them of their wealth to feed the Dolist beast. To do otherwise meant collapse and insurrection. We’ve staved that off so far with nonsensical monetary policy and debt that is literally insurmountable, but we’re at the same point the Dolists were.

Last night’s speech was a waste of time. Only thing notable about it was that the WH/Trump thought it was necessary.
Its only not necessary for those that don't understand the biggest obstacle on holding hte house in the mid-terms.

Big fake out so all outlets show the coverage and then he talks about affordability and everything that is being done.

It was brilliant.

It’s notable that he announced $2 billion in new spending for the military that wasn’t authorized by Congress. But given the other options for things he could have been announcing that involved bypassing Congressional authority and the military, I suppose we got off easy.

You might want to wipe away that mess dribbling from your chin. I promise the President will still know you think he’s the bestest, most special boy if you don’t blindly follow every stupid move he makes.

Thats ok that this is your angle - I get it.

I also know you hate what has been done so far in this admin and I can't give you comfort in the fact it will continue, at an accelerated pace, and will move even faster during Vances two terms.

Enjoy!

Except the reality on the field still is what it is. You can tell people not to believe their lying eyes. Biden tried it. Didn’t work out so well for him.
