Ok - sure thingThat is not a good way to govern.
I guess you govern the way autopen did. Much better.

Eh - mass deportations. Rent rates go down. PE dumps inventory. Housing prices drop by a lot.If anyone really wants to make the price of housing better, incentivizing the modular industry would be a good start. Those guys build better homes than site builds and save an easy 25% doing it, even after the cost of crane setups. It’s such an obvious solution that I’m not sure why it hasn’t been done yet.
You do understand that more than one thing can be bad, right? This isn’t a zero-sum game where if Trump governs poorly, it must mean that I think Biden is super awesome.Ok - sure thing

No it just means you don’t have a good viewpoint because you never said anything during autopenYou do understand that more than one thing can be bad, right? This isn’t a zero-sum game where if Trump governs poorly, it must mean that I think Biden is super awesome.
Yes, I very notably have never once criticized Joe Biden or the Democrats. No it just means you don’t have a good viewpoint because you never said anything during autopen
Oh yeah - you were a staunch critic for sure!Yes, I very notably have never once criticized Joe Biden or the Democrats.
I think this is in no small part due to the response of the right to Kirk’s murder. They very briefly had some momentum in the wake of Kirk being shot for his beliefs and use of free speech, and rather immediately squandered all of it by insisting this gave them a mandate to trample free speech and take an even more authoritarian approach. In practice, I think this resulted in a bunch of folks who agreed with the parts of Kirk’s message that elevated personal liberty jumping off the ship.I may have said it before, but the entire American right wing power structure has seemed to collapse since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Vance seems like the best option to pull everyone back together but he doesn’t really have the credibility among the evangelical types that Kirk had. I’m not sure where they go from here.
One big problem for you on this front is the face of the other party is a guy who frequently uses violent rhetoric, demonizes others and gleefully reposts videos of us doing drone strikes on civilians. The message of stopping the violent left is deeply undercut by the right’s inability to meaningfully acknowledge Trump’s divisiveness. To be fair, its pretty demoralizing seeing half the country celebrate when a good christian dude gets brutally murdered.... then goes to elect a politician who fantasized about murdering kids
Yes I know words are violence in your world but it seems since Trump took the stage 10 years ago, one side keeps crying about mean tweets and the other side keeps getting murderedOne big problem for you on this front is the face of the other party is a guy who frequently uses violent rhetoric, demonizes others and gleefully reposts videos of us doing drone strikes on civilians. And blaming the mean tweets to justify the murdersYes I know words are violence in your world but it seems since Trump took the stage 10 years ago, one side keeps crying about mean tweets and the other side keeps getting murdered
At no point have I ever justified a murder due to rhetoric. In fact, I’ve argued both sides have it wrong in this respect. But if the right is going to insist that the left is stoking violence through divisive rhetoric, the presence of Trump makes that laughable. And blaming the mean tweets to justify the murders
