So mostly more handouts to people who already don’t pay taxes?
It looks like most benefits would flow to middle and upper middle class, I’m just not sure how this squares with the rest of (D)’s policy goals. I don’t see a proposal to cut spending to offset the tax reduction. The “rich” can’t pay for everything we’re spending now, much less Medicare for All or anything else off the wishlist. I guess they could go all in on MMT and just pretend deficits don’t matter? So mostly more handouts to people who already don’t pay taxes?

Insane. I do think at some level there is a political payoff to keeping prices high. Every homeowner has a vested interest in restricting supply.
My SIL posted what a big deal the dem getting into a run off was.Harris had a big campaign fund. I’m curious how much more Dems will throw away on it now that sneaking past 50% in the primary didn’t work.

I can’t say I blame them. Given MTG’s success compared to how awful she is, it has to be one of the most secure jobs in the country.12. Literally 12 pubs on the ballot.
