Sure, it doesn’t seem like a great regime to live under. But all the murders of dissidents combined with the areal bombing campaign seems to have lessened that motivation.
My argument did not really hinge on the degree to which it’s not good to live in Iran. Just because I’m opposed to the war in Iran doesn’t mean I am unaware of how terrible they are. But that’s really neither here nor there when it comes to externally demanding Iranians take up arms against the tyrannical government that will kill you in the streets for trying to protest. If Trump wants a new regime installed in Iran and insists on continuing to blow shit up over there anyway, I find it pathetic for him to call on Iranians to be meat shields for our war effort.
And if they don’t, we install a puppet government to rule over them instead? How many leaders need to be dead before you cannot feasibly claim this isn’t a regime change war?

I didn’t watch the Trump address because we’re not supposed to listen to what the President tells us, but S&P futures are down 1.4% this morning so I’m assuming he said the war that’s not a war will continue even though we won the war that’s not a war?
