Some Red State/Blue State Indicia

They studied the issue, discovered the heating effects they noticed are too localized to contribute to rising global temperatures and have instead focused on causes that affect more than just the local conditions. There are plenty of people looking to combat the effects of urbanization, but the people focused on the global climate aren’t them.
For good reason. Urbanization and higher population density is one of the most cost effective ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

Does anyone face any penalties about getting things wrong for decades?

Isnt florida supposed to be under water now?
Penalties?

I don’t think this criticism is quite as relevant here, as it’s a case where the people you mostly disagree with looked at a man-made system that observably makes their environments hotter and concluded that the science doesn’t support doing much of anything about it because of how immense the Earth is.

  • Programming details (exact daily hours, performers, food vendors, etc.) are still being finalized for many sites—check the official sites closer to the dates.
