    4/1 GDT: Opening Day

I can’t watch this game thanks to YouTube TV, but it clearly sounds like we should begin the rebuild before it’s too late.

Looking Ahead - The 2020 Offseason Thread

That’s more of a gamble than a plan. You are literally looking for a person someone didn’t want on their team that can make a impact on your team. Highly unlikely. Maybe he just doesn’t want to carry extra payroll until after the deadline?

AA has a plan....I would sure as heck like to know what that is...but he has a plan.

Michael Harris is the "left handed Acuna" per Chipper

Next year might be unreal. He needs to develop this year with no real spot anyway.

Michael Harris is the "left handed Acuna" per Chipper

Yeah. There is such a process in drafting between the scouts and strategy of what player will sign for what amount, etc. Their complete motives are to get as much talent with the cash they are given. They could care less what color you are. They “do” at least have Micheal and Trey Harris, Dean...

Michael Harris is the "left handed Acuna" per Chipper

Chipper isn’t easily impressed. He especially wouldn’t say something like that unless Harris is unreal. Think a second about that comparison. Holy crap.

    ST #5 Freeman debut

    Wilson would be my guess.

    ST 4

Camargo has been playing all winter. He should NOT be rusty.

I mean no matter what...this is Riley’s year. He either takes off, or probably gets replaced at the deadline (assuming Lamb doesn’t make a valiant comeback).

I think he considers Smyly as a playoff bullpen arm....that’s the only thing I can think of for the amount we paid. There must have been many guys on board with this...still strange. I think AA is more apprehensive to trade because of our International limitations. I am really surprised he...

I’m telling you guys, it would be so “Ender” to come out on fire. It that he could sustain it...but just to throw a wrench in things with Snit.

How much would Puig get? One year 4mil?

Looking Ahead - The 2020 Offseason Thread

Probably not, unless he had a gigantic year and his arb number goes crazy. I do not feel they sign him back unless it’s a team friendly deal. His injury history along with his up and down production would be concerning otherwise.9

Riley isn’t arb eligible for until 2023. He is a great value even at current production and they will give him every chance until then.

Looking Ahead - The 2020 Offseason Thread

Well, you wouldn’t trade him this year. There would be a path if Dansby had a monster year (coupled with Shewmake making big strides), that you trade him his last year....especially if he has a big arb number and you think Shewmake can have close to the same production. You could also shift...

I would have wanted him back, but not as a closer. We still need one more bullpen piece.

Looking Ahead - The 2020 Offseason Thread

I’m just kinda waiting for another shoe to drop...that I pretty much know isn’t going to drop. We should be improved from last year...Dodgers, Pads and Mets have improved thru pretty big moves. I feel our big move was Morton...an aging yet possibly dominant pitcher (if he can stay healthy) and...
