Its not like the QBs are taking you off the street and making them into an NFL player. I am talking about making an NFL caliber player look really good. Tom Brady is a complete non story. In his second season in the NFL, he won the title with Troy Brow and David PAtten as his WRs. Of...

That adds to my point. Elite QBs dont need elite WRs. Matt Ryan does. Do we really expect much from Hopkins or Cooper at this point?

Oh, you used total yards. I missed that. Luck was a lot like Lawrence in that he made his OL and weapons look worse, unlike many QBs. He wasn't bad, by any means, but not a top 5-10 QB. The advanced numbers were rightfully pretty harsh on him most of the time as well. And this site sucks, i...

A QB makes a WR more than a WR makes a QB. Allen was successfull throwing to John Brown as his best WR and now has very little at WR and still performing. Luck had TY Hilton and Reggie Wayne and a solid stable of TEs. its not like he had nothing to throw to.

4 total, I looked at wrong column. Who are Josh Allens WRs? Pat Mahomes?

I will never understand people that say Luck lived up to the hype. Granted he was an above average QB, but he was essentially a little bit better than what Trevor Lawrence has been despite also being hyped up as generational. He won 1 playoff game.

Its early so you never know but Andrew Luck and Trevor Law were both "best QB prospects since..." and neither lived up to it. Just the first year so he certainly can develop, but the gap between the 2 is enormous right now despite the Bears being loaded (Odunze, Allen, Moore, Swift, Kmet). The...

All this chatter but lets not lose sight of the fact that at this point, it looks like the Bears chose the wrong QB. Imagine Daniels with those weapons and defense...they might be deep in the playoffs.

I dont think there is a right or wrong answer. A blitz is very dangerous as well because 1 missed tackle and you are gone. The Bears needed to play it better and there are flukes occasionally.

Garrett is a great pass rusher, but you are crazy if you think 1 player moves the needle that much. Atlanta is in a weird spot for sure as they aren't thinking long term but aren't necessarily ready to be title contenders today. But, I dont think 1 move makes them a contender.

WR play is heavily dependent on the QB. Hard to say Olave has regressed when he was awesome for 2 years and has had a slow 6 game sample. Garret Wilson is stuck with 40 year old AROD and now will have to right AROD throwing the ball to his buddy nonstop. Also- you have to use the WRs the right...

Looks like a lot of it is system related. Do you try to get the WRs the ball in space and let them run after the catch? Do you attack downfield? Are you throwing screen passes? Do you hit the TE often?

Im not relying on any 40 year old QBs. Heck, Id be skeptical over anything 35 or more. Just bc Brady was a freak of nature (that carefully took care of his body and never relied on his athleticism) doesn't mean others can do it.

Woody is like Dan Snyder. He's in love with Rodgers so when Saleh was gonna demote Hacket, Woody appeased Rogers

The Browns were smoke and mirros, anyone could see that. Why they lost by 30 immediately in the playoffs. Colts won 1 game with Flacco :) Vikings are smoke and mirros.

4 games is not a good sample size, let it play out. Having said that, I think Herbert is an above average QB but kind of in that range of we have to pay him a fortune but is he really good enough to carry the team on his own type status

Look at their QBs how have they been massive underachievers? The worst thing they could have done was get Rogers so its not surprising that they aren't winning with an old ass QB.
