If AA ties himself to Snit for next year then both of their asses are on the line and Snit can just ride off into the sunset where AA still wants a career in baseball. AA's best bet is to cut him loose after 162.
Done for the season. This may go down as AA's worst move since he's been here is holding onto Murphy past the deadline. There's no way he gets moved this offseason now. A hip tear is probably the equivalent to a pitching having shoulder problems.
I do think Kim will opt out bc the SS market sucks outside of Bichette. Boras will try to get him more years and it'll work. AA hasn't dealt with Boras from my memory and that's not good especially if they were interested in Tucker, Cease or anybody else.
Lopez should still be looked at as a bullpen arm for next year instead of a SP and be the 1st option to step in when there is an injury. Elder and Wentz as 3rd or 4th options aren't bad but the depth has to be improved this offseason.
We have a pretty hard schedule coming up with the Cubs, Astros, and Tigers. We have 7 more with the Nats and then finish it off with the Pirates. That Pirates series could decide who gets a better pick between us and them.
He no doubt moved Ronald down to 7th bc he don't like him. They have never liked each other. The look on Acuna the other night said it all that he's checked out. I don't blame him. No way they can bring Snit back 50th or not he's gotta go.
I'm so ready for this season to be over. If Snit does come back and I'm afraid he will for his 50th and we see this same thing happen then McGuirk and everybody else need to go too.
Even in a slump he's still our best hitter. When Allen was on a little run then we should hit him close to the top? Always give your best hitters more AB's slump or not.
Way to piss off your best player. Moving a player down doesn't snap them out of a slump or make them start hitting better. Regardless of where you move him he's still the best player on the team but all you're doing is pissing him off. Put him back at leadoff where he's most comfortable and...
