Happy for Rodon as a NC State guy. But dam these contracts are nuts. With his injury history. Crazy

Have it hope Wash can bring him along with the glove at this point. Dansby wasn’t great by any stretch when he first got up. But, Braves are trying to win now, can’t really afford a steep learning curve.

If we can get a good LF, going into season with Grissom and Arica at SS is fine. Conforto is the play, assuming it’s a very short deal.

Baseball executives has gotten smart it seemed. But it’s back to old times of paying players for what they have done, instead of what they are going to do. Paying players serious money into their late 30s and early 40s is not gonna age well

Braves get Murphy 3 way deal

A complete fleecing of Oakland, even if WC just turns out to be a decent part time catcher. Crazy what Mil got for essentially nothing.

Braves get Murphy 3 way deal

Agreed. Problem is. Contreras, Grissom and Malloy were our only real trade chips. Malloy not as much obviously, 2 of 3 are gone and we still have a hole at SS, LF and DH.

Braves get Murphy 3 way deal

It’s hard to believe Milwaukee got all to at without giving up anything of real value. Just crazy. Their GM fleeced Oakland.

Agreed. Braves did fine on this trade. Brewers made out like bandits. Brewers have to be taking in money some where.

I don’t get this trade at all. We still have 2 glaring needs at SS and LF. If anything this cost is our best DH. Unless we needed that little money saved to sign Correa, doubt it, it makes very little sense.

Correa needs to happens. He’s a perfect fit. Prime years fit right into championship window. Make it happen AA.

Heyward was a terrible hitter propped up by good OF D. Turner is a very good hitter. It’s still a very long deal, way too long. But from the Phils side, they can figure 35mm/year first 6 years them 17-18 or so for the last 5.

Salaries are going to continue to escalate. So the 27 mil to Turner right now will look more favorable in 6 years when 2.5 win players are getting that. Same with Harper.

Pipe dream but, trade for Reynolds and somehow attach Rosario in deal and sign Correa or Turner. That would be an awesome off season.

Absolutely. Push for Grissom instead of Bill, but either way you probably do it for that price.

This. Hoping AA can acquire a talent like BR, while keeping Bill.

Would Anderson, Mueller, Grissom, Malloy be enough for B. Anderson?

    FG Grades NLDS Managers

Snit is an awful tactical manager. AA needs to get control of the in game decisions.

    Statcast Arm Strength Leaderboard

Dansby’s arm is weak by SS standards for sure. There obvious. He does have a very quick release and is very accurate. Ozzie has a poor arm and a slow release. Harris and Acuna have absolute cannons. Acuna has an incredibly slow wind up and release though. Seems to Bobble the ball a lot. Where...

Judge, Turner and Rodon. Get it done AA. An die hard NC state and Braves fan can dream right?

Turner is a good enough hitter to be a stud no matter where he plays. I’d rather have him than deGrom for 30+.
