I'd expect a pitching prospect to go back as well. Maybe Anderson, Mueller, or Tarnok. You'd almost have to include Rosario in there to make space for him, and have the prospect capital in there to not have to eat much of his contract.

Reynolds makes $6.75m this season before going to arb for the following 3 seasons. How bout adding him then re-signing Swanson....I know that is fantasy land stuff

There’s no way in hell that Tarnok, Anderson and Mueller would be enough. I’d think you’d need to swap Grissom in, at minimum.
 
Reynolds is very interesting. Will of course, depend on what the potential package. Not sure if the Braves have what the Pirates would seek, but it’s definitely worth kicking the tires on.
 
Contreras, Grissom, and Anderson would be enough. We could probably get them to take Rosario back as well.
 
Reynolds has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years now and would slot as well as anybody would in the lineup and OF. If we did get Murphy somehow this would make a ton of sense.
 
Only way im trading away Grissom is if we re-sign Dansby. And can re-sign Reynolds. Along with Contreras.

What are you trading for Murphy w/o moving Grissom?

Think hes saying one of them with Grissom/Bill. Thats alot to deal, you almost have to have an extension lined up for Reynolds to give up that much.
 
If the Braves are going to trade guys like Grissom and Anderson, a guy like Reynolds is who they should be targeting.

I’d be against trading Contreras for almost anyone. I think the TDA/Pina/Contreras trio will be very valuable covering most of the C/DH PAs in 2023.

I think we trade Pina unless we can move Ozuna then your scenario works.
