really no sense in "rushing" anyone back, ever. Bad word choice. Seems pretty straightforward to me; after his wrist is healed and he can hit without pain you "bring him back". That would mean a few rehab games., then MLB if no setbacks. If it doesn't get to that point until the season is over...

7/12/15: GDT - Atlanta Braves @ Colorado Rockies

comical; our bullpen would have had to pitch if Wood didn't, did you notice how they pitched? And which one of our ****ty pinch hitters would have made a difference in what was an 8 run loss? This board and its blaming every freaking loss on managerial decisions is comical. We've got a bad team.

more like the epitome of the average major league pitcher. which means he'll probably make 50 million dollars before he's done.

We have to be the only team in baseball that can't hit this pitching staff.

Masset, Eveland DFA'd. Viz, Carpenter called up.

you're basically saying winning doesn't matter. that's the worst message anyone can give. The front office needs to build for the future, but the guy on the field needs to play to win, every night.

7/5/15 GDT: Braves, Miller try to keep the line moving vs. Phillies

Remarkably inept day of offense by two bad teams today. Bottom of the 8th a real piece of work. Someone will win on a walk, sacrifice, wild pitch and an error, or some variation of such.

7/5/15 GDT: Braves, Miller try to keep the line moving vs. Phillies

AJ is certainly durable he's in there almost every game. Pretty surprising for a 38 year old catcher. Day game after a night game most 28 year old catchers sit.

7/3/15: GDT - Philadelphia Phillies @ Atlanta Braves

Home/road splits are hard to explain. Its gotta be a mental thing at this point, there just isn't that much difference between pitching at home and on the road. Or am I missing something?

This scrub went 0-6 in 13 starts at Lehigh Valley this year BTW. Phillies are 9-29 on the road so far this year.

yeah, and this would be three nights in a row for Grilli, might want to go to plan B whatever that might be.

really got a good read on the hit by Jace as well. Pedro doesn't have a lot of competition for that spot on the roster, just Gosselin when he's healed.

we need to run on this guy, ain't getting a lot of hits, and XBH's are a pipe dream with this team and no FF.

    Folty optioned, D. Castro recalled

Sugar Ray gets to be on the big club for two more days and then gets sent down. That's pretty straightforward. Who replaces Folty in the rotation? Hard to tell, is anyone at Gwinnett ready?

6/16/15: GDT - Atlanta Braves @ Boston Red Sox

He can't pitch on the road for some reason. His home/road spilts are ridiculous.
