I'm not against trading Freddie, I don't think anybody should be off-limits. But sending both him and you-know-who to StL in successive offseasons would just be cruel. That said, not getting too worked up about this rumor until more credible outlets report it.

I've been on board with most of what the Johns have done, really only raised an eyebrow at the Olivera deal. But at first glance this one stinks.

Just called up by the D-Backs after they dealt Prado... Anyhow, not upset with this one. Traded from a position of depth for a couple useful pieces. Beats the Ankiel/Farnsworth deal at least.
