Went to the Rome-Charleston game last night. I mentioned earlier my wife grew up with Sean Godfrey's dad and aunt. Had a chance to meet him, seems like a really nice kid. He hit the ball hard but went 0-fer, with a stolen base. Has good speed, kinda reminds me of a right handed Bret Gardner...

Going to see Godfrey in August in Charleston when Rome comes in for their last trip of the season. I stated in an earlier thread that my wife grew up with his Mom, have since found out it was his dad and aunt. In any event, we are hoping to get a chance to visit with him while Rome is in town.
