Deadpool was great - exactly what I expected it to be. No doubt they got the right actor to play the role, which Marvel overall has done a great job of. Looking forward to the sequel and it wouldn't surprise me to see Deadpool pop up in an X-Men movie soon.

Heading to see Deadpool this afternoon. It's got an 84 on Rotten Tomatoes and I haven't looked forward to a movie this much since the last Avengers. I'll be extremely disappointed, but not surprised, if I see kids at this today. As a parent myself, I just don't understand how some parents can be...

    CrimsonCowboy's 2016 NFL Mock Draft

I'll be surprised if the Bears don't draft a QB in rounds 3-4-5. Cardale Jones seems like a guy they could draft in those rounds and take a year or two to develop behind Cutler.

    Making a Murderer.

Just finished it last night. Way too many uncertainties for Avery to be convicted, but he still may have done it. The theory that Bobby Dassey and his step father committed the murder makes a lot of sense to me. I'll be shocked if the truth doesn't eventually come out - seems like this case...

I've been to the movies twice since November (Hunger Game and Star Wars) and both times someone has brought in a baby carrier with a baby in it into the theater. I've never seen this before and couldn't believe it when i did - baby was quite during Hunger Games, but Star Wars baby started crying...

Jecki Lon Memorial Star Wars Thread

The movies are ok - saw the new one this morning and it wasn't that impressive, way too similar to A New Hope (another giant Death Star like ship, c'mon) - I don't understand all the hype around the series, but it's probably just my age/era. Much more intrigued by the Marvel movies.

Just finished Jessica Jones and really enjoyed it. The Luke Cage series should be solid, but I'm more interested in the Iron Fist series for some reason.

What is something you're embarrassed to admit you didn't know?

That was exactly my case - never saw anyone use it and I had seen potpourri before. One of my classmates asked the waiter for a to go bag so that I could "take some potpourri home to my mommy" - as embarrassed as I was, that was still pretty damn funny.

What is something you're embarrassed to admit you didn't know?

When I was in 6th grade, I found out that the red pepper flakes that sit on tables in Italian restaurants are not potpourri. It was a school trip too, so it took awhile for kids to stop bringing that up.

Maybe, but Nick may have inadvertently saved Glen here - how else was he going to get out of this spot?

Haven't read much about this, but heard the Outside the Lines piece on ESPN Radio the other day - as bad as this looks for Louisville, how about the author/lead escort essentially pimping her own daughters out at these parties. That is disgusting.
