Totally disagree. Shortstop, centerfield and to a lesser degree Catcher are all positions in which you can sacrifice some offense if their defense excels. Maybe that it what it will take for the Braves to finally move JHey to Center and demote BJ to a 4th outfielder position for the remainder of the season. We just have to hope he will find "it" before next season. We have so much money invested in him.

We are probably stuck with him til next spring. The Braves will probably decide to eat most of his final contract year salary for the best prospect or relief pitcher they can get. BJ needs to take the place of Schaefer. Use him as occasional starter, pinch runner and defensive replacement. Trade Schaefer. Prefer Braves get an outfielder who can leadoff for left or right field. Preferably right field because I don't like trading JHey defense in right for JUpton's.

Interesting. Has Bethancourt improved offensively. I remember reading that the Braves thought he was ready defensively but his bat wasn't ready for MLB pitching. But if he is basically taking BJ's spot in the lineup I guess he can at least give the Braves that level of offensive performance.
