Alright for the 1,000th time. Joe Simpson is recovering from surgery. There will be different fill ins for his stead until he returns.

We are probably stuck with him til next spring. The Braves will probably decide to eat most of his final contract year salary for the best prospect or relief pitcher they can get. This will take care of Dan but we are stuck with BJ. We just have to make him fill a fourth outfielder role the rest of this season and hope he finds it next year.
 
Okay BJ. It's time for you to surprise everyone by getting on base. Hint: do the opposite of what your instincts tell you to do.
