While we are all drooling over Lee, Medlen is pitching pretty damn well.

This is much better then good pitching. Don't get me wrong, we are slumping this month offensively but Chris Lee is a great pitcher.

I see the Cards probably taking 2 out of 3 if not sweeping. They're playing really good baseball right now while we've struggled this month. With that said, it's not a foregone conclusion and I agree that the pitching sets up where the Cubs could win a game or two.

We are what we are. We strike out a lot, steaky hitting, rely on the homerun ball, and have some injuries in the pitching department. That said we've managed to win the division and we are in position to finish with the best record in the NL. All you can do is hope that things start clicking...
