Unless Wren makes a trade for a SP I believe Wood will get at least 2 more starts before Maholm returns. We may not think he is ready, but getting the feeling that Braves brass believes he is ready. I feel certain that he will be in the rotation next Spring.

I know its just the third inning, but GEEZ will the Braves win another series again this year? Currently they have only won 1 series in their last 9 (I think that is correct). Frustrating.

Who cares if he leads the team in homers....he is not getting the job done consistently enough at the plate. Hitting under .200 is simply not acceptable especially for the $$ he is getting from Braves. I'm pretty sure Wren and Fredi envisioned more production from him when they acquired him...

True, but management has to do something to get the hitters attention that this crap is not acceptable. Can't fire the entire team so change the hitting coach. I really think it would get their attention...may not help, but can't get any worse.

Brian Jordan is laying into this team's hitting approach. Maybe they should make him the hitting coach. He is seriously upset with Braves hitters.
