    What's next?

Agreed. Underwood and Contreras would be great grabs though. Especially Contreras based on our needs.

Heyward to Cubs for less than $200M

My point is Alvarez always had massive power potential. But that was it with him. He struck out a ton in the minors and scouts always had concerns about his bat moving forward. He's a slow, unathletic and was always destined to be hidden at 1B. Soler has the plus power potential but has...

    What's next?

That's not enough for me. I'm completely against trading Teheran at this point unless we receive another Shelby offer....still hesitant with a big offer. Teheran alone should pull Soler, Underwood. So Inciarte doesn't fit for me. I'd love to grab Soler and one of Pierce...

    What's next?

Definitely understand the concerns. But to me we already got a home run in the Shelby deal with the centerpieces in Swanson and Blair. Inciarte is a very good player but in my opinion he's maxed out already. I wouldn't be surprised if his offense falls off and as he gets older his D will...

Heyward to Cubs for less than $200M

    Good read http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/where-the-cubs-go-with-jorge-soler/

Heyward to Cubs for less than $200M

If you honestly are trying to compare pedro alvarez and soler then I might as well give up. There is absolutely NOTHING similar about either of those players. This is a lost cause. You don't have to want to trade Inciarte and you don't have to like Soler. He's far from a perfect player. But...

Heyward to Cubs for less than $200M

    6. Legit 30-35 HR potential. Unless you're acquiring Mike Trout almost everyone has flaws. Soler is going to be a force in the middle of some teams lineup and I trade Enciarte for him any day of the week. If we truly have the opportunity to get a potential RH power bat to hit behind Freeman...

    Future SS

hell no. He's the next Altuve. Just put him at 2B and leave him alone. We'll have one of the best DP combos in the game in the not too distant future

    What's next?

Definitely agree the Mets would have to overpay to get him. I just have a hard time believing they would trade Conforto alone for Inciarte. Conforto looks like a middle of the order masher. Wheeler and Nimmo would be a very good package

    What's next?

Do you really believe Inciarte is worth Wheeler AND Conforto?

Heyward to Cubs for less than $200M

Soler will be a decent defensive RF. He'll never be a game changer like Heyward is defensively. But there are few bats available on the trade market that are in the majors and have the potential to be a true impact middle of the order bat. I trade Inciarte for Soler in a heartbeat

    What's next?

Agreed. I would be very happy hanging onto Inciarte and having him in our OF for years. But he's got a lot of value right now. Swanson and Blair were the major pieces in this deal so if we can continue to grow the return on Shelby by shopping Inciarte I'm all for it. If we can get a...

    What's next?

Nobody thinks Heyward isn't valuable. The debate comes in when he has a $23M salary attached to his production. So yes, some people love Ender when factoring in the type of player they both are and the cost for each

O's and Royals showing interest in Nick the Stick

I HIGHLY doubt the cubs were willing to give Soler AND Baez for Shelby. If they were, Shelby would be on the Cubs right now

    What's next?

I wonder if we could pry away Zack Wheeler from the Mets for Inciarte. Bowman just reported we're looking for young pitching if we decide to move Inciarte.

O's and Royals showing interest in Nick the Stick

I would LOVE to move him. He's a solid player but should be on a contender right now. He might be very attractive to teams like the Orioles or Royals. Very Very reasonable contract. We should be able to get a good prospect for him

Atlanta Braves should trade Freddie Freeman

I don't think we SHOULD trade Freddie but I think it's a huge mistake when Coppy comes out and says absolutely not being traded. At the state of the current team, we should be planning to keep him but keep the option open for someone blowing us away

Heyward to Cubs for less than $200M

There's no denying Heyward is a very good player. He got paid more for hype and potential then actual production but again he's a very good all around player. The problem is a team with payroll constraints like the Braves CANNOT pay guys over $20M a year unless they are a true impact bat or...
