GDT- 8/14/18 ....RETURN OF THE NIGHT OF THE ANIBAL- THIS TIME HE MEANS WAR

starting pitchers tend to be sharper when they are on a consistent schedule - makes total sense that Anibal wouldn't be as good tonight

GDT 8/9/19 - RETURN OF THE ATTACK OF THE ANIBAL

I have 2 legit questions, if someone could help me out: 1. when is the last time a Braves player threw out a runner at the plate? 2. has any pitcher, ever in the history of the game, thrown fatter pitches over the heart of the plate than Wes Parsons has in this game?

GDT- 8/8/18- Night of the FOLTY

Just a thought...Perhaps AA asked Snit for this particular defensive lineup because he wants to see how Camargo handles SS??? ... that way, if we get Josh Donaldson in a trade next couple of weeks, we already have a clear idea of the possibility of Camargo at SS everyday down the stretch

TUESDAY MINORS FINAL 8/7/18: Whitley (remember him?) makes rehab start

well, yeah... Braves FO and beat reporters aren't gonna come out and paint it that way, but... just by nature of the beast, I'd say any shoulder injury that requires a 60day DL stint should be considered career threatening.

I like this move, Duvall should be able to get the ball in the air deep enough for a sac fly to pad this lead

TUESDAY MINORS FINAL 8/7/18: Whitley (remember him?) makes rehab start

If the same gun is not being used in every single one of those reports you are referencing, then those numbers are unreliable for comparisons. Minor league velo reports are incosistent, at best, and generally shouldn't be trusted to compare from source to source. If it's the same source every...

TUESDAY MINORS FINAL 8/7/18: Whitley (remember him?) makes rehab start

I'm saying I miss the days when Leo had all the starters in the entire org throwing way more often in side bullpen sessions than the guys do now, as I feel like the arm strength to sustain a long season is just not there anymore. And I also miss the days when each member of the rotation knew...

I agree, and I think we are now living in a world where a color analyst is expected to provide nothing but black/white scripted content.., I don't really love listening to Joe, but as long as he's not going overboard, he should basically be able to say what he wants without it being the subject...

at least that many, and might be WAY more than that... I was told 4 or 5 yrs ago by a very senior level member of a MLB front office that he thought it was even more prevalent than the late 90s & early 2000s. I believe the direct quote was something along the lines of "almost everyone is using...
