Especially now that teams know we would be desperate. I am really thankful AA saw the SS depth issue and addressed it with Dubon. It sucks we have to test it before the season even starts, but the alternative would have been another half season of Allen, and I don't think I could have taken...

I would have considered Mateo a better bench option than Allen to be honest. Hopefully Dubon/Mateo can work some magic for the first 3.5 months of the season.

Honestly, a solid signing, and expected. Better than the Luke Williams over the world. Maybe we can get lucky with Lodise or Miller and one of them just plays so unbelievably well, that we can't keep them down.
