I get it. And I understand i'm being a whiney bitch. But after last season, the "we tried" excuse just doesn't do it for me

Honestly, pretty useless information if you ask me. AA knew that Diaz was going to cost the draft pick before even coming to the meetings. The cost was going to be known regardless. So why invest the time if you weren't willing to do the price? I can't wait until spring training when he has done...

Mark Bowman @mlbbowman · 21m Weiss said he’s open to Acuña moving back to the leadoff spot. He understands Reynaldo Lopez is a bullpen option, but he said he’ll stretch out as a starter in Spring Training. He also said he’d be very comfortable with Dubon being the everyday shortstop

A few years ago, I would have agreed. But after the last offseason and the season that followed, Braves fans are getting a little antsy....and for good reason.

I'm sure the braves 3 year $45m offer was enticing. At least AA can say that he made an offer to a FA that would have taken the pick away

Honestly, if/when he signs elsewhere, I wonder if the Pirates would make a go at Ozuna. He seems like he'd be a great fit for them and should come relatively cheap. Not a lot of teams that are looking for a DH only player.

This would be very….underwhelming The Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies are among the teams interested in signing utility man Willi Castro, sources told ESPN. Castro, 28, was an All-Star in 2024 after a strong first half with the Minnesota Twins, but he regressed through...

Yeah, i've been saying all offseason we aren't going to do anything outside of minor things on the edges. I smell a another massive fail this offseason. Then next season, he can blame it all again on you can't plan for injuries and blah blah blah. Right now, we just aren't a good baseball...

AA had a presser yesterday and sounds like the Braves are not going to be adding a DH this offseason. Prefers to be able to swap guys in and out of the DH spot throughout the season. I'm okay with that. But we still need to replace Ozunas bat, definitely need at least 1 starting pitcher, and 1-2...

It’ll be fun to be a Braves fan on the sideline watching every other team get better except ours. Seems like AA doesn’t do anything at winter meetings. Usually done in November or just before spring training

Bob Nightengale tweeted the cubs were close to a deal with Gallen on a deal paying $22m per year. Jeff Passan followed that up and said that was not true. lol

    2025-2026 offseason thread

per Ken Rosenthal, the Twins are expected to not trade Lopez, Ryan, or Buxton. They plan to try and compete in 2026. Not surprising. Their division is relatively weak so they don't have to be that good to make the playoffs.

AA does not give out no trade clauses or deferred payments. This takes us out on any major free agent (Schwarber/Diaz/Bichette/etc..) I honestly only expect to add on the fringes at best. I guess last season broke me as a Braves fan currently

As I mentioned in another post, I think it’s a super quiet offseason until I see otherwise. Can’t wait for AA to hold a news conference at spring training and talk about how getting healthy is like making a ton of additions. It’s not. There’s no guarantee Schwelly, Lopez, Jimenez, etc all come...
