    2026 : Around the League

If he was on such thin ice he gets fired in April, why bring him back at all?

Having a direction at all is a breath of fresh air. Fontenot and Morris had no real idea what they wanted the team to be.

He's perfect opposite Drake. Drake is gonna have a lot of room to operate in the short to mid game when defenses have to worry about Branch making plays.

GDT 4/24/26: Braves vs Phillies - Interesting Lineup Adjustment

Before the season, we had a 36.2% to win the division and a 78.5% to make the playoffs. Currently, we have an 80.3% chance of winning the division and a 92.7% chance of making the playoffs.

GDT 4/23- The Legend of JR Ritchie (and Harris= George and Weezy)

The Fish, the only other team with a positive run differential in the NL East, are at +2. Over 162 games at that rate they're looking at a +13. We're on pace for a +386 run differential. This won't keep up. Last year the highest run differential was +172. We're not going to double last year's...

GDT 4/23- The Legend of JR Ritchie (and Harris= George and Weezy)

It's April 23 and the Mets are 8.5 back from us and the Phil's are 9.5 back. The only other team in the NL East with a positive run differential is the Fish with a +2. Our run differential is +62. We are outscoring our next closet competitor by 60 runs. This is insane.

GDT 4/22/26: Braves @ Nationals - The Right Year To Start Fuentes

Imagine if I told you before this season that on April 22 we'd have a 5 game lead in the division and an 8+ game lead on the Phillies and Mets. You'd have thought I was certifiably insane.

Great job overcoming adversity and not folding there. Huge for a young pitcher.

I wouldn't. I wasn't referring to those when I said traffic infractions. I was referring to the numerous arrests for things like failing to maintain lane and ordinary, non-racing speeding.

Zachariah Branch might have the record for the weakest arrest in pre-draft history. He was apparently outside a bar in Athens, GA as part of a crowd on a sidewalk. A cop ordered him to move. He "smirked" and only moved a little. The cop then arrested him. For those that don't know, unlike most...

Our luck last year was biblically bad.

Iglesias to DL, retroactive to 4/20

Suarez means we can absorb it. Also, relievers can usually be acquired at the deadline. Still sucks.

GDT 4/20/26 Braves @ Nationals - Riding the High

Weiss has an edge to him that Snit didn't have. I liked Snit more than most here. But he lacked that edge.

GDT 4/14/26: Braves vs Marlins - Roster Back to 26

Iglesias is making up for torpedoing our season early last year.
