Do you know how ordering works? I'm asking this because I don't think you know. Major companies buy stuff well in advance, Walmart buys their christmas product in July. So any effect from the tariffs hasn't been felt yet. Especially because I know people didn't place orders when tariffs were...

    NBA Thread

Kind of like Hockey the NBA is carried by its stars. 10 years ago you had Durant, Lebron, Steph, etc. all duking it out. Then they started the load management and so on so on so forth. Now the best player in the league is a dude who doesn't even want to play basketball, he only does it because...

It is in the data, our economic growth has slowed. And it isn't showing signs of getting better. It will if Trump didn't fuck everything up. So returning to baseline will improve the economy. Shocker that things get better when you lower the tariff on our number 1 trade partner from over 100% to...

I literally have shared places that have had price increases because of Trump Tariffs, one of the companies I buy D&D supplies from has a container in china that is waiting to be shipped but they're not paying tariffs that high on.

Just got back from Sinners (finally came to my theater in town) damn it's a great movie. Coogler is a brilliant director, and fucking hell Ludwig could get another oscar for the music of this film. It's one of the most creative scores I've heard in a film in a long time.

    Robert Prevost Named Pope

As I understand it Prevost is a compromise. He was close to Francis, and had strong connections outside of America as he did a ton of work in Peru. It was more or less a continuation of Francis. Dolan had his shot 12 years ago, now he's 75

I love my blackstone. I make smashies all through the summer. It's the best thing for sure. But like literally whatever you would cook in a pan. Grilled cheeses, burgers, hot dogs, etc. One of the better things I made were tacos. I did a chipotle chicken and carnitas tacos, yhou heat the...

    MCU Thread (Spoilers inside)

Thunderbolts was really good. Not an amazing film, but for an MCU popcorn film it hits. It does what MCU films do best which is character driven films with good action sequences. It doesn't hurt that David Harbour as Red Guardian is a perfect MCU comic relief.
