It was a poor jump. That play had a 75% catch probability though and Acuna had to run 110 feet to get there. It wasn't routine by any means. But this just shows you that getting a good jump is the most important ability for an outfielder in terms of good defense. It can overcome lack of speed...

Profar is a horrible defender and would be the one that needs to be the primary DH.

Acuna isn't a horrible defender. He needs to be in RF on most nights. But he certainly needs to get a breather at least once a week at DH. Especially in day game after a night game situations. Getting an OF/DH to rotate around would be ideal.

There's a report that Henry vetoed a possible Devers deal that would have the Sox paying some of his salary in what would be assumed a better return. Whether that was the Braves or not who knows.
