    Minor League Thread Part Deux

Looks like E.J. Exposito was promoted to AA... was having a really solid season in Rome and Deester has talked abouot him a few times. Had a nice first game going 2 for 3 with a walk and a run. Looks like he's settled in at 2B... between him or Nacho, maybe a future answer for Ozzie if he...

    Minor League Thread Part Deux

Nothing other than he started an FCL rehab assignment a couple days ago. No hits yet but did walk twice yesterday and scored a run. No word that I've heard on when he will move up a few levels.

Sale stops the bleeding GDT Braves vs Brewers

Or maybe he got tired really quickly because he was pitching for the first time in a year. He was hitting in the minors and ST also at times... he hasn't been close at all since the hammy. To think a hamstring issue couldn't possibly impact a guy who uses his legs so much to generate power is a...

Sale stops the bleeding GDT Braves vs Brewers

He was definitely throwing harder at the beginning of his first start before the hammy injury.

Sale stops the bleeding GDT Braves vs Brewers

Feel like if there is any hope for the rest of the season, we need to rattle of a 10+ game winning streak... or like a 15 of 18 type streak

    State of the braves

It would be retarded to trade a top 5-10 ace in the game on a bargain deal on a team still in their window which the Braves still clearly are. I don’t know what else to tell you. It ain’t happening and it shouldn’t.

I mean it makes sense when you see how much leg power goes into his delivery

Fangraphs just put out an article on Strider... not great but not completely void of hope: https://blogs.fangraphs.com/how-worried-should-we-be-about-spencer-strider/

    State of the braves

Dumping Sale who is still an ace at a bargain deal would be stupid when we will need starting pitching lol. Most of his old injuries (while many) were of the flukey nature and his velocity is right where it has always been.

    Economics Thread

We already do this and have been. Our office has been backing up short staffed neighboring offices on and off the last 2 months. The funniest thing is, a bunch of people took the fork in the road, another chunk took the early retirement offer... and now they are hiring 140 new positions back...

    2025 Around The League Thread

Did you miss the part where I said "I always wish we held onto him for depth?" Also, starting pitching hasn't been our problem... scoring 3 runs a game has been our problem

He's still almost walking 4 per 9... regression is coming hard at some point. I always wish we held onto him for depth, but he's nowhere near this good.

GDT 6/3/25: Braves vs Diamondbacks - Harris Back Where He Belongs

Yeah, I don't know what the answer is, but it sure seems like this team is on the verge of giving up... they look uninterested, management just looks checked out... it's pretty pathetic.

There are a fair number of really dumb folks in this administration... but Lutnick may be the dumbest... so glad he's running my department...
