Did Longenhagen leave Fangraphs? Feels like they've had no prospect coverage for over a month.

WEDNESDAY MINORS FINAL 2021: Four-Hit Night for Waters

Anyone know what's the deal with Jared Shuster or Vaughn Grissom? Shuster has only pitched once for Rome (5/7) and doesn't appear to be scheduled this week, and Grissom has only played once since 5/13 for Augusta.

    Soroka shut down

Big if, but if he bounces back without issue, the silver lining is that this will naturally control his innings for the year. He wasn't going to be pitching every 5 days for a full 162 after last year no matter what.

ST 3/20 - Wilson on hump - no DH- on TV!

Not with the reorganization. Rome is A+ and Augusta is A ball this year.

    2019 Trade Deadline Thread:

Interesting nugget here: We decided to get in on the fun, too. Below you'll find our list of 10 prospects to keep in mind heading into the trade deadline. We're not saying each (or, necessarily, any) of these players will be on the move. But we've included them either because we suspect it's...

    2019 Trade Deadline Thread:

They changed the rule after the Trea Turner debacle, you can now trade draftees after the WS rather than waiting a year, but you cannot designate anyone as a PTBNL unless they are eligible to be traded. So short answer, no, can't do it until after the season...

WEDNESDAY MINORS FINAL 6/13/18: Fried Fabulous

went to the G-Braves game against the Tides, Fried looked great. Fastball sitting 92-94, think he hit 96 on the gun once. Used a change frequently in the low 80s, but his curveball was just nasty. Was throwing it for strikes at times to get ahead and got a number of K's either burying it in...

SUNDAY MINORS REPORT FINAL 6/3/18: Three named FSL all-stars

Staying on the 2017 draft, Freddy Tarnok has had an intriguing start to the year. Picks up the win today with 3IP 1H 0BB 4Ks, sporting a 0.98 ERA over 27+ innings. Peripherals aren't quite as shiny as he has walked 21, but 39 punch outs and no HRs allowed. Not bad for a 19 year old in full...

MINORS REPORT 4/6/18: Undefeated! Can anyone here start a streak???

Oh, no doubt, he never looked in trouble. Even when he was missing his spots early he wasn't leaving anything in places where guys could do damage. His mound presence was good, looked every bit the top pitching prospect.

MINORS REPORT 4/6/18: Undefeated! Can anyone here start a streak???

Watched the G-Braves in Norfolk tonight. Soroka pitched very well even without having his command dialed in for at least the first three innings. Got groundballs when he needed them. Finally seemed to put it all together in the 5th. Sitting 93-94 on the Norfolk gun, which isn't typically hot...

    Gohara

I think Soroka would be the one under that logic (not that I'm endorsing). Gohara has already set a career high in innings this year with 88 IP (has never been above 70). Seems risky to increase his workload a huge amount by extending his year through September in the big leagues. Soroka has...
