I just realized something

Braves play the Diamondbacks this week and once it’s done, the season series with them, the Dodgers, and Padres will be done and Atlanta hasn’t played the Mets yet.
 
saw this floating around the intertubes... Ozuna's hip has been hurting and yet he is still playing every game. I get he is one of the only real hitters on the team.. but wouldn't it be better to try and get him healthy while you have two good catchers that can somewhat hit on the roster?

I guess I'm just dumb, but why would his hip only bother him with runners on? He kills the ball with empty bases.
 
You would think that law of avgs would swing in our favor soon, but maybe not... the Red Sox were cursed after losing babe Ruth, and now we are cursed bc of losing FF. The only acceptable sacrifice to the baseball gods is AA and snit's heads on a stake.

Nah. It’s hard to hit 3-run homers when you don’t hit homers anymore.

Braves are just below league average as a team in homers. They’ve previously been top 3 in the league every year since 2020. Last year they were 3rd, even with all of the injuries.

I miss Kevin Seitzer.

They made a mistake firing Seitzer bc it obviously wasn't the coach but the players. The new guy is doomed to bc he won't be around long at this pace.
