06/13 GDT Vs The Mutts - Soroka vs Not Soroka

For anyone traveling to the game today and missed the broadcast last night, they are urging you to pay for parking in advance or take an Uber. They expect insufficient parking space for the game and stressed to prepay in a official lot, or take an uber.

BTW, 29+k in attendance last night.

From what I'm reading, attendance is currently around the same as last years average. Figure this will go up over the Summer so we're in decent shape.

With Jackson now gone, who gets the boot once Teheran is back? It should be Moylan, but, for some reason, the front office continues to like him, and Snitker continues to use him in high leverage situations. Will they retroactively DL Foltynewicz or McCarthy?

FiveThirtyEight has the Braves projected to win 87 games with a 49% chance to make the playoffs. I'll take those odds.

Yeah I will as well. I think some promotions and depth of our staff will keep us looking good for longer than expected.

It would make sense to send Gohara down to AAA and have him get stretched out as a starter

I am almost to the point to really believing that they want Gohard close by to make sure they can 'watch' him. I really can't think of any other reason to let him rot on the bullpen bench.

I bet he hates the braves right now... no 5 guys and can't start games

DOB said Folty is expected to be ready for his next start, and i'd guess Gohara is sent down to get stretched out then McCarthy is DL'd for "soreness in his arm"

Weird scheduling quirk that June 13 is the last day the Mets visit SunTrust Park. It's also weird that this is Atlanta's 41st game vs. the NL East, and the next closest team is the Mets being their 27th game vs. the NL East.

Still lots of games left with the Marlins. Hopefully that’s a good thing.

I could've sworn that this series against the Mets was against Wheeler and Vargas.

Did the Mets get desperate and want to throw deGrom in there against an East rival instead of saving him against Arizona?

Their handling of Gohara and Tucker is odd. It seems premature, but they may have already tabbed Luiz as a BP guy. Hopefully he gets stretched out soon in AAA.

Tucker should be getting some PAs while Acuna is on the shelf.
