I just don’t see Wrights stuff being that good.
Maybe I’m missing something but even in the first two innings he was giving up hard contact just right at guys.
Maybe he will end up one day being a solid sp but I have much more faith in Touki/Anderson

What other Vandy players have we had that you would consider soft? Not going to look it up but the only other Braves that immediately come to mind are Dansby and Mike Minor.

There was literally no hard contact outs in the first three innings.
This dude is a throwback to the Glavine/Maddux umps.
Hard to score runs and have good at bats when an ump is gifting the pitcher the outer third
Guess we are watching a different game.
Could of swore they hit a rocket at Riley and one at Hech that we nearly got a double play on.
Actually just looked up the statcast data.
Both Mccutchen and Harper had outs that had an ev over a 100

Yeah he was actually pretty good in the first three innings...
Big thing is I don't like how straight his fastball is, and I think nobody does.
