09/13/23 GDT Braves @ Phillies Here Before, Here Again

Mid-90’s-present Yankees and the 2000-2019 Patriots are the only competition. They’re probably better though because of the rings.
 
I know there is champagne spraying, dancing, and yelling, but am I the only one who thinks this is a bit of a subdued celebration? A team that has bigger goals in mind, perhaps.
 
It should be a low-intensity celebration. As good as this team is, it will be a 1996 level of disappointment if they don't win it all.

I don’t care if the Braves had 130 wins by now, I’ll never lose faith in the franchise’s ability to find the worst opponents and absolutely rank a couple series against them.
 
I said in the prediction thread if everything went well we would end with 105 wins. Everything hasn't gone perfectly but 105 looks pretty good.
 
I couldn't watch the game or celebration, hoping to catch it later somewhere. I'm proud of these guys - not nearly as dramatic as the last two years but certainly dominant and probably what we'd prefer most seasons, heh. Grats boys! Now for step 2.
 
If we win it all I'd place good money on Morton retiring. He's been such a great value for the tema the last few years.
