He used Chavez early and then mchugh late

He ph for lh pitching specialist against a lhp with a guy that hasn't played in 2-3 weeks. And bc of the ph, burned our lh ph bc Rosario had to play lf
 
Ok, officially worried about Max. He has not been knife-edge sharp for about a month now. If we find a way to win three of four we will have been lucky yet again.

Good news is we lost the first game last year and in ‘99. Bad news is we lost last year to the other team’s ace and still had our ace. I feel alright but we have our work cut out for us.

He got us in Philly, but we got him the week before. He has an era of 3.99 in his last 7 starts, which includes us getting his for 4

Let’s be clear: this bet is that the Phillies will win the series in four games?
 
Brutal loss given we face Wheeler in Game 2. Gotta somehow win or it might be curtains with Nola who has basically been unhittable in Game 3.
 
Why is Ozuna on the roster?
Biggest AB of the game and you pinch hit a rookie that has slumped and not played in a month instead of your best available pinch hitter who has been hot for a month with runners on and instead say after the game you were trying to save Ozuna for later when you knew it would be against thier best reliever with likely nobody on base…
Then you have Odor as a long man to eat innings when one of your starters gets hurt or has a bad outing and it happens and you don’t use him and instead use two of your better middle relievers..
That will come back to bite us tomorrow when they’ve already seen Lee and CM.
Snit practically made the worst possible moves today and we still came back and lost by 1.
With all that being said you can’t win when your starter gives up 6 and you leave 10 on base.
Max’s fastball down 2mph today and only got 6 swings and misses.
Something to watch moving forward.
Gotta win tomorrow or it’s over as Nola has been about as good a pitcher the last month plus as there is in MLB.
