So Buck is calling the Bucs-Packers game. So we get Joe Davis, the a Dodgers play by play announcer, on FOX tonight. Unless they’re putting Frenchy in there too to balance it out (or letting Smoltz fly his Braves flag), this doesn’t seem fair at all.

Love that they’re putting May back out there

I don’t think it matters who they put out there...We aren’t scoring any runs tonight unless someone runs into one...this will be another game of quiet offense and average pitching.

Interesting that May is getting a second start over Gonsolin, but the latter was not very good against the Braves.
Anderson has that cool customer about him on the mound. I know people throw things around like “the moment isn’t too big for him.” Well the little bit we have seen of Ian Anderson tells us just that. We know he isn’t going to be afraid out there.

I don't have alot of confidence in winning this game, but I just keep telling myself no matter what happens, we took the best team in baseball to the brink with two starting pitchers, one of whom had 6 total starts in the majors. This is clearly the most successful season for the Braves since 1999, and we'll always have game 4 of the NLCS, the most fantastic postseason game for the Braves in this millennium.
