Note that Swanson is playing. Will he lose his rookie status?

Interesting game for the Tigers today. THey have to win, have Bal or Tor lose, then they have to play the makeup game that was rained out with the Indians, presumably tomorrow, win that, just to get to a tie-breaker game. IF they win that, THEN they get the wild card game. Whew!

Are you sure it's not 4? I thought if he reached 130, he lost eligibility.

If Dansby has 130 ABs he is still a rookie next year:

Determining rookie status:
A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or (b) accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list).

This game and last nights has such a playoffs feel to them. I never thought ANY of our games this year would feel that way. We might just make the playoffs next year with the right moves.
