116th Congress

Immigration policies have consequences.

Should send her back to where she came from

The world is changing at an exponential rate. Not 10 years ago, this was likely impossible. I know people like to point out injustice, but there is plenty of reform happening and been happening in the last 10 years. Things that in the past have taken 50 or more...

We shall see. Likely to have the Presidency and Congress. Hope they prove me wrong. They need to put the pressure on Republicans when they try to obstruct like Trump does. Dont let Republicans frame the narrative. If they have the Presidency and Congress they need to frame the narrative as Republicans obstructing the will of the people. They will scream tyranny the whole way but "elections have consequences". When the voters say they dont want Republicans to control the Presidency or either side of Congress there is no reason to compromise or let them frame the narrative. They need 60 votes to get Bill's voted on but they can change that. With 50 votes.

A little less sanity for us to look forward to. I suppose Amash is tired of the corruption.

It's why we cant have a good government. Good, smart people simply arent interested in playing

The same could be said of teachers. I saw it a LOT when I was still teaching in the public schools.

I would have loved to teach but jobs on long Island were guaranteed to people who didn't know how to teach and couldn't pass a high school math exam.

Teachers unions are great.

I have never been to Long Island but that stuff happens around here ALL the time and it has absolutely nothing to do with teachers unions or any kind of union. It is ALL about familial connections and/or the buddy/buddy network. You go ahead with the "usual suspects approach" though Pavlov would be proud.

Who is responsible for the concept of tenure and fighting for teachers with tenure despite their incompetence?
