It's not. But people have long memories. About Ted Cruz and superstorm Sandy in particular. No one wants to see ordinary Texans go through what they're going through. I wasn't living in the northeast when Sandy hit. But I drove through a couple months later. The devastation was a shock.

but hopefully they made sure they don't send it to anyone that "hates socialism"

It has everything to do with his quote, because his quote celebrates people picking the politicians. People picked him after he promised $2k checks. The signs didn't promise he would work for it, or that he was one of a hundred, or $1400 checks. They promised $2k checks if was elected. We're waiting.
 
The Dems are convinced the stimulus checks issue helped them win in Georgia. Besides the unholy alliance of Sanders and Hawley there was not much support for this before the Georgia elections.

But hey if you campaign on something you should try to deliver on it.

I'm still hoping that other check from Mexico arrives soon.
 
I voted for Warnock with the understanding he was one of 535 plus 1 that had to agree.
As I think anyone that has ever taken Civics in Jr High or Civics 101 in first year college.
Or are you one of those that only took statistics and business because you know, that is the only issue in life
