They've tried repeatedly only to be pushed back from the eGOP.
Would MAGA voters have liked the indiidual mandate to be repealed? Was that MAGA's fault?

That's true, and a good one. But slightly less impressive when it wasn't a legislative victory, and the states who have taken advantages of this win have been attacked by Trump and you as doing terrible things

I'm asking the question to highlight that 8 years of a Trump controlled party has resulted in almost zero legislative victories. He currently attacks any pro-life legislation as a result of roe overturned. I'm happy about the Tax cuts though. I'm glad he let Paul Ryan manage that and I'm glad he signed that

Would have had individual mandate gone. Would have had a wall build to stop the invasion.

Crazy to not give Mitch credit for this one.
It was a ruthless, competent political move which gave us Neil Gorsuch - 2nd best member on the court - instead of Merrick Garland, a full blown communist tyrant
And it required someone to actually beat HRC and Trump was the only one who had a chance at that.
So I find it weird that the credit is solely given to Mitch for that one....

Its been a long term Republican goal that Trump only contributed to by being President at the right time. If Ted Cruz wins in 2016 the result is the same. Same for any other Republican. You can give Trump credit for winning but coming off 8 years of a Democrat President made the race Republicans to lose. Hillary was only favored because Trump was such a bad candidate.
