I don't think its fair to compare the life of religions and give radical Muslims a pass. The world is open to everyone now. In the middle ages there were no options to gather worldly knowledge.

They still do that today and it is 2014.

Quit reaching. Convert to Islam, you protect it with your life it seems. I don't think you can drink alcohol though.

Because the Catholics burned all of the worldly knowledge we had. And it's quite easy to manipulate the mediums we have access to. How many people believe **** that's reported on the news as fact? Remember (for a recent comparison) when it was a fact that Darren Wilson had a busted orbital socket? I can go on but having access to more information doesn't mean having access to better information. Also given the global economic standing adn tech advancements, it's easier to quell a revolution now than in the past. In the past a traitor was needed, now only a hacker.
 
You are going to compare the global climate today to what existed in the 1300's? Really? Its not a fair or valid comparison at all.

umm, he can't get away with it in the states. If we can send all the Westernized Muslims back to their countries and have them preach the right way to live and actually get along with other religions it would be a good thing. But in the most part if you preach Western Islam they would kill him on the spot.

I have three here at work and very tolerant and does not like what is going over there, but they pretty much agree with me and do not force their wives to do the stuff their religion tells them. They said it would be out of place and disrespectful. Some of the wives still wear their head pieces and can speak to me without getting beaten by their husband. One of them do my lil's girl hair (she is really good).

It is funny when we talk and they know I have no love for their religion, but they have much respect for freedom of expression. They will remain establish to Islam but the western way of life has AWAKEN them. It seems being pushy is not the right way to do things and freedom not to subjugate others gives them the freedom to do things in their religion.

It seems to me, those backward asses over there are stuck in old days.

I didn't compare them, I said they're totally different, are you just making ****ty logical jumps on their own or just seeing that my post doesn't agree with yours and not reading the rest? I compared them in the loosest terms because well so did you by saying it's different. I acknowledged the differences and discussed the issues that are involved in 2014.

If he was a true believer in Islam and the true believer kills people who don't convert, then he would be a killer. Regardless of the laws of the land he would do it.

How can they come to the US and found out that tolerance is okay, your religion is okay, treat others with respect and guess what you are doing well. I have no problem with my Muslim colleagues even though I hate their religion and they know it, but I treat them respect and that matters. Since I have no religion, they do try at times for me to test it. I politely say 'no'. As long as they treat their women with respect in front of me, we are cool. If they don't there will be issues like I did to my friend.

So you care about Muslims in the middle east and how they act and reflect it upon the religion as a whole, but don't care about how Christians in Africa act? You have to have realized the hypocrisy in that statement before typing it.

No, I don't.

I am not a Christian. I don't have a religion. I've stated that many times on here. I only go to church to appease my wife who I love and the education my children is recieving. Priests leave me alone, pastors leave alone and they know why. I do not want to hear their schit and I tell them upfront.
