Bobby used to have the rule about shaving too (that he brought over from NY). I think once Fredi came in he didn't keep that tradition.

What if we accidentally signed him like 45 seconds before the deadline because someone set their clock wrong and the MLB actually took the draft pick away lol
 
I'm honestly surprised it hasn't leaked yet. Surely CK and DK agents have been negotiating and surely a team has become the front runner. I would expect a deal to be announced soon since the signing team(s) will want them ready and available as soon as possible.

Why? I think it’s pretty clear that some team like the Cubs or Phillies get desperate and give him a longer term deal that he wants. They can afford to be dumb, we can’t and we won’t.
 
I’m picking the Braves for Kimbrel also. He can go back into the FA pool in the offseason and not have a pick attached to him if he wants. Braves can reasonably match any offer he gets and with FF on board he’d lean towards Atlanta before anybody else. Now if they pull out all the stops and signed both him and Keuchel then wow. Either way I expect to hear something pretty soon.

I think it will be a day or two before we hear anything other than rumors. The agents are going to milk this for every penny and put teams against each other. I am sure that has been going on already but now they can use the media to “leak” things.

They’ve been going at this with teams for awhile now I’m sure that’s why I don’t think it’ll drag out long. They drug it out all winter so teams aren’t gonna keep up that song and dance.
 
Rosenthal just reported that the Phillies have agreed to preliminary terms with both Keuchel and Kimbrel.

Wow.
 
I wonder if CK paid the bullpen to blow Tehearn's lead today. Probably offered to double Webb and Winkler's salary for their performances the past week.
