2015 Fantasy Football Talk

I do both an auction and a snake draft league. Anyone have preferences over the draft format? I prefer auctions, but both are fun.

Some players I am staying away from and some players I want to get at all costs.

Do not want: Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery, CJ Anderson, any 49ers save for Boldin/Torrey as bench players, Demaryius Thomas, and Brandon Marshall to name a few.

I want: Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Maxx Williams is a big time sleeper, and Kelvin Benjamin to name a few.
 
We should just have a CC fantasy league here for some extra money. I need it since the subscriptions are coming in shorter every month.
 
I don't like Hopkins for more than WR2 value.

The WR pool is just so deep, you could stream 3 or 4 options depending on matchups and do very well. Odell Beckham should go in the top 3 rounds probably.

Think Cutler is a poor quarterback and without Marshall to take away coverage teams can lock in on Alshon. Conversely he could have good numbers because Marshall is gone. I don't trust anyone from Denver because Manning looks like he's toast out there and he makes that offense move. If Anderson fell or was a cheap auction pickup, I'd welcome him. But I've seen mocktions that have him going for like 60 bucks and I think that is way too much.
 
Forte is in a contract year and John Fox has stressed that running the ball is going to be a big focus of the offense. Forte is primed for a huge season.
 
I have the #2 pick in my draft this Sunday. I'm leaning toward AP or Charles. Anyone I should consider above those 2?

Scoring system and rules help.

I'd assume Bell goes first. Not sure on that... I haven't done much research coming into my draft next Wed.

It's not a bad team. Agreed about not loving it though. Love the Cobb stashing because I think he will be getting the bulk of the carries before too long. Not sure what's going on with Abdullah either, but I know he's gonna get chances. Depending on how things shake up to start your season off I would look into trading Gronk and getting better WR.

I think I got Gronk in the 3rd, and TE depth is nothing compared to WR depth. Gronk should take the place of a no 1 WR in theory, and have two WR1\2 in my WR spots.

Maclin and Marshall are for matchups to sub in. I am really hoping Keenen Allen steps up, he supposedly has had a great offseason. Rivers should hit him early and often with Gates suspended. I took Allen over Davante Adams, and probably shouldn't have. The buzz on Abdullah is deafening at this point.

I also think Andy Reid will find a way to get Maclin the ball even with Alex Smith.

I am optimistic on Cobb because Qbs that can threaten with the run end up being an asset to their RBs and effectiveness.
 
This is my big weekend for fantasy. Draft tomorrow night, auction Sunday night followed by the All White League draft, and then Monday is my last draft.

Got the 6th pick in the draft tomorrow night and should have a pretty good player available.

I got Bell with the 6th pick. Was very fortunate the suspension scared em all off.

All white league eh? Got your crosses all soaked in diesel?
