@FO_ASchatz: Man, I love the Falcons offseason. Love their low-key FA signings. Love this Beasley pick. Just need a better tight end to finish the job.

I think Williams dropping caused everyone stick where they were. The teams that wanted to drop got their BPA. The Falcons would have traded up if Williams was off the board if either White or Williams were off the board before the Jets and Bears picks. Falcons wanted Beasley.
 
Another sport has a draft? I was too busy watching the Bulls double-up the Bucks in a playoff clinch-game.

How? Cox has 2 years left on his rookie contract and Bradford has only 1. Plus Bradford can't stay healthy and isn't that great anyways.

They couldn't negotiate with Cox and sign him long term? Is that not allowed. Tampa Bay is far from competing and grabbing a quarterback just because you have the number one pick is an awful idea. They are still going to have the worst quarterback in their division anyway.
