I hate potential #3 starters too (what he was thought of at the time).
Is it trying to paint the team in a bad light if it's suggested the Braves sold themselves short by attacking Melvin to Kimbrel? Also Quientin and Maybin have to be factored into the trade as well to get a complete analysis.
I don't think it was a bad trade but the Braves likely could have gotten more if it was just Kimbrel.
How many times have Bonifacio been signed by the Braves?
Almost as many times as you've been banned.
So, "not often enough"?
I wonder if the Boni signing means no KJ, assuming he's available?
They are going to pull a 180 and the Mets will sign him and we will trade for him in July.
Almost as many times as you've been banned.
Bob Nigtengale reporting that the Braves and Tigers started conversation at the Winter Meetings about a possible Verlander/Victor Martinez trade and continue to have serious talks. Deal hinges on whether or not Braves brass believe Martinez can hold up to be able to catch 110 games the upcoming season.
It's Millwood.
I was just waking up when I read it and was like, wait, what? Then I saw Millwood and took another swallow of coffee and moved along.
Victor Martinez hasn't touched his toes since 2011.
