Trump just took the lead in Florida while still missing some panhandle counties.

Are the panhandle counties more democratic?

Nope, the exact opposite. They usually are huge numbers for republicans. Which is why florida is interesting, Trump will win the most area but will hillary keep it close enough that she can win the state with places like Miami-Dade and Palm Beach?

Important to point out that Rubio way out performed Trump in Florida.

Rubio would probably win the election if he was the nominee. Hillary has been abused and only reason she's still a shoe-in to win short of a Trump miracle is that he's the worst presidential candidate maybe ever. Only thing he has going for him is Charisma. Literally indicted for rape and fraud and going to court.

ANd with Indiana projections of Young over Byah the Reps chances of holding onto the Senate are better than the odds of the dems taking over for sure.

Just based on early results it does look like Trump will at least do better than Romney did.

As I told Clare in our video chat a few minutes ago, all the exit poll data so far has made me really despondent about the state of our politics. The gulfs are widening along gender, education, class, and urban/rural divides. This is, of course, nothing new — we’ve been talking about it for months — but I suppose Election Day is turning into a big, clarifying, heartbreaking reminder.
