I would still probably start him today. that way if there is a game 7 he is at least available if needed. I can see the other side too. have him rested for 6 so that you are more likely to win that and just use everyone in game 7 if need be.

There is just zero way a 5-1 National League game should last four hours or more. They always talk about the pitch clock. It's the damn commercials that are the issue.

I hadn't seen him much this season, but he looks like he is standing further away from the plate than ever to avoid getting tied up by inside stuff. But if pitchers work him outer half and Heyward continues to try to pull everything, he's going to continue to have problems. I think the beaning affected him more than anyone is letting on. He's just too far off the plate.
