I meant to put problems in quotations since many of them are fantasy (see the thread about the gender wage gap). Nevertheless, the Dems will call for more government control and will try to convince us that their grand vision can all be paid for if we just ask those rich people to pay a little more. I lol at the idea that the Reps trot out the same old greatest hits as if the left is loaded with a bunch of innovative intellectuals.

the way it is sold from that party for the same way the past couple decades aren't real issues
"get rid of obamacare" (replace it with what? never hear that), cut taxes on the rich (which hasn't done anything other than help us owe more money to china and cause huge wealth gaps), build a wall (every wall in the history of this world always fails)
so, yeah, they aren't real issues or real solutions to problems

Why don't we replace it with nothing? All it is a mandate.
And who is syaing "cut taxes for the rich"... if I'm hearing correctly - I'm hearing "cut taxes for everyone"
The left is always concerned about wages in the country, but the idea of a tax cut - the easiest way to grow wages - is abhorrent to them

That's not how it's sold at all. That's how the liberals sell conservatives. Your premise is just silly to the point that you are obviously trolling. I think half the folks up on that stage are against building a wall. At least half are essentially for amnesty. Most candidates want a complete overhaul of the tax system to make it more simplistic. Not your empty tax cuts for the rich rhetoric. Literally all of the candidates have replacement plans for Obamacare.
I think they only had 5-7 minutes to talk in the debate because there were so many on the stage, but I heard lots of different plans and ideas. Some pretty damn radical too. Carson's healthcare plan is quite a departure from Obamacare. Great debate with Paul and Christie. I think the first debate typically is mostly about introducing yourself to the country.
Ironically I think Trump is pretty much the only one up there who in reality has no plan.

This debate is so full of cliches and one-liners.
Jeb Bush's wife is an American by choice, probably didn't hurt she married into one of the wealthiest families in the country.
Moderators have zero control over the debate. It's turn a forum for civil discussion into a **** show.
