2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Graham murdered Santorum on the immigration question.

Jindal dodged the question about the Muslim ninth-grader with the clock, and Pataki made it about Kim Davis.

Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

King Sack o' Hammers leaves the race.

I wonder if the establishment is going to start pressuring some of the lower-tier candidates to get out. NY Times had a good article about the new rules governing this election's candidate selection process and it could be that they don't want minor candidates (often "favorite sons/daughters" to some extent) to blunt the possibility of coalescing around someone who passes the establishment's muster. Just a theory on my part. It was simply ridiculous for Walker to keep going. Guy is a total idiot. He kind of resembles Mortimer Snerd and he did have the Koch brothers' mighty hand up his butt working his lips.

My top 3 current front runner republicans to become next president.

1) Fiorina - She is extremely quick witted. Needs to work on her sense of humor, but I think it's there, she just needs to start using it. Republicans need to start moving some assets her way. She's got an "it" factor.

2) Rubio - He comes across as a little too green. Obama obviously was a relatively young inexperienced candidate, but he never really gave off the appearance that he wasn't ready. Rubio does have that problem though. But I have to say that I'm extremely impressed in his resiliency. The water bottle thing could have been a career ender, but he's fought his way out of that. Dude's a competitor and he has passion. He also has folks that will back him. He can get the money. He's shown a propensity to improve.

3) Christie - Pubs need to get behind Christie. He is a great politician. Enough with the he's too moderate BS. This is someone who has the personality to win the presidency.

Yep, that's about where I am too. I like Kasich too but really only as a VP.

I find the campaign a microcosm of how the candidate would govern.
If there is constant turmoil - well, it only stands to reason that would carry over.
If a candidate goes broke or spends money like water -- well ---

Notable: Democratic socialist @BernieSanders has run the most fiscally-sound campaign, while "conservative" Scott Walker ran a deficit.
