2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

No that's not an opinion. That's ignoring facts and history. It would be like someone saying the Holocaust didn't happen and saying "it's OK it's just his opinion, it is Yes I know I'm going borderline Godwin here, but I had to pick something big that obviously happened, but stupid people still don't believe happened.

If Kennedy believed in 6 day creation in 2015 I would call him an idiot too. I can tolerate many things. If you believe in a young earth and 6 day creation (please Bedell, don't come in here talking about God days vs man days or anything like that, that's not what 6 day creationists are talkign about) I cannot take you seriously as a person. You lack even the basic amount of common sense. We live today in a world where we can do so much, and they want to take an ancient book of mythological tales as the truth. **** that, I'll call him an idiot, and I'll feel justified in doing so because there's no way you can be raised in the 20th century, live in the 21st century and believe that sincerely and not be dumb.

Like the media, you want to take a dig at him.

It's okay. Liberals are wired that way. Try to find the slightest thing to go against your competition. Hillary and Sanders would be proud of you.

Dude, I don't know how to say this other than we're having 2 parallel conversations that occasionally intersect briefly. We are saying many of the same things, but it seems to me most of the areas where we disagree somewhat are apples and oranges. What I'm saying you're responding to something else, and vice versa. Unions have had a LOT of effect on American jobs and American workers over the decades, quite a bit of it good, a WHOLE LOT of it bad, but in both cases their influence transcends just the companies that have unions. If you think management and ownership pays anyone outside their little inner circle a real living wage out of the goodness of their hearts then I doubt we'll ever come to an consensus.

Our government is supposed to have checks and balances to keep one branch from running roughshod over the other two, the economy is the same way. Unions have their place, just like ownership has theirs. When unions get drunk on their own power and the money they sometimes pilfer you can see that right? You want something done about that, right? What about when ownership fires people who have worked for that company for 20, 30, 40 years and just when they're starting to make a living wage and almost have their retirement worked out they get the pink slip and a nice, "we'll miss you but hey it's nothing personal, it's just business". Then they don't have a job and guess what, they find out that's not even the end of it, the company files for bankruptcy and/or moves to BFE and somehow manages to keep most if not all those people's pension money, because "those unions are just too damn greedy and we had to at least pretend to make a deal with them or we'd have had to shut down years ago". Then while the people who worked there for so many years are trying to piece their lives and hopes and dreams back together the news comes that the CEO and sometimes other members of upper management have a golden parachute they can ride to their next big gig that is an iron clad contract that can't be backed out of now matter how greedy the unions are and it seems like nobody who wasn't directly screwed by this scenario even cares, including half of this board. And if anyone ever talks about putting some controls on the other end of this thing all you hear is how high corporate taxes are (even though few of them even pay those) and then after hungrily accepting perks form local government, state government, etc., and using these loopholes to get out of paying most of what is left they talk about bolting for Ireland or BFE or some other place where they can be treated fairly and that there's nothing that can be done about them, after all it's THEIR money.

It's literally no wonder to me that this country is going straight to hell. If I wasn't living here too I'd probably say good riddance.

Liberals forcing people to do their will aka, Communism, 1984/Equilbrium book and movie and the Republicans greed of sending job overseas and don't giving a damn about those pay for their product as long as they get paid.

You are correct.

If I won the big lottery, I would try to get a 3rd party to get these pieces of schit out of politics. Dummicrats and Repukeans suck to high heaven and I agree.

As for union, Dad says, you stay in it to keep your job, damn the dues. I feel that it is what it is today but I do have a correction of if you are in a union and good standing, you are good for life, but if you leave, you are totally screwed.

And Obama 52 lies is okay and his beliefs, or CLinton's 12 lies, they are acceptable, or Sanders moon man mentality that free stuff is good for the nation by printing more money to pay for it because the Dems and the Reps would never vote for his tax hikes.

Someone speaking about the bible and creation has NOTHING to do with presiding over the country. HE would not even put religion in it unless it is abortion, which is a good thing, but even then, he has no power.

If you want someone who can give nuke codes to Russia, Clinton, or someone who wants to raise the tax rate 20% Sanders, there is your choice.

So have Russia have our codes, or you want to be taxed at 20% or more on top now or someone who believes that grain was in the pyramids or the Earth was created in six days. Which one of those is pertinent today and safety of our country and citizens?

But using the Bible to get gullible Christians to blindly follow him like sheep does matter to me. Stick to the issues and then rise or fall based on that. If you're going to go to the trouble of quoting the Bible then at least hire somebody who knows at least a little about it to coach you. Somebody either dumb enough or deluded enough, or who take Christians lightly enough to say something this bone headed, yeah it really does matter. It's no different than when white preachers in the South used to use the small hand full of Bible verses that, when taken by themselves, justify slavery. The Bible is the truth and the truth is noone's beeotch.

What we really need is someone who will stand up to the corporations and the 1% and who will have the courage to actually turn things around and frankly I don't see anyone other than Trump and Sanders who might even be able to want to do that, regardless of whether it would ever come to pass.

So, what are Ben's economic plans?

Problem is that white Christians are gullible, but his 7DA as a black would turn blacks off...and frankly me, they are close to Mormons, but I don't actually care about religion in that sense, I care about what he said he would do for blacks and seeing his background he would do what Obama wouldn't and didn't, like trying to educate us and make the schools better, get rid of the crime and lack of staying in school.

Economically, he is staying silent, but I believe he is like me, he wants to keep jobs here, Obama didn't care, and would punish companies for shipping jobs overseas. The pact that Obama is doing is going to kill jobs here, but he doesn't care, he would be in the record books of doing the deed. If you hadn't notice everything he does is the first, be it good or bad, mostly bad, but it is a legacy as a mix race president. Even my family now call him mix and not black and that is saying something. They still back him but I have a sense they are not happy with how he neglected us/them. Because of Carson (R) behind his name it is going to take a lot for me to get them around. They actually love him and his ideas in everything especially on the religion part, especially all the pastors, but that (R) makes them like hold off.

Carson is a Democrat in wolf's clothing to be honest. It is the religious side that made him Republican because he knows that Democrats hate politicians that would not abide by their morbid morality. Kennedy would never survive in this day in age if he went for president, so would Martin Luther King. Dems would crucified them.

Oh my, to not be taken seriously by the mighty Zito. Oh what will people do??

Funny how you think you know what I believe or how I will express it. You're a hoot sometimes Zito.

"So when Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, both of partial Cuban descent, whose fathers fled the conflict in Cuba in the 1950s, want to halt Syrian refugees from coming to the United States because of completely unfounded fears of infiltration by terrorists, they are being beyond hypocritical. - "

I have a theory. As Donald Trumps shtick gets more outrageous by the day he is in fact Andy Kaufmann. Goofing on everyone

Kennedy would never survive in this day in age if he went for president, so would Martin Luther King. Dems would crucified them.

I really don't know how you could possibly contend that Ben Carson is in anyway remotely on the left side of the political spectrum. He is proposing a ten percent flat tax that would give billionaires giant tax breaks while raising the tax burden on those currently paying little or no federal income tax. He constantly gripes about how political correctness is ruining the country and while it is annoying, I think there about a zillion other issues of greater importance to the fate of the republic.

Saw Bernie today in person. He was quite the rock star with the crowd. And his campaign has awesome music.

Bernie is this year's Ron Paul. Whether you agree with his politics or not, he seems to be an honest person who really wants to make things better. People, especially young people, who are totally turned off and sickened by our political process get excited when someone like this comes along because they really are idealists. I just hope Bernie gets a fair shake from his own party, unlike what the Republicans did to Paul in the first couple of primaries back in 2008/2012.

Bernie isn't gonna get a fiar shake with the democrats. If they did they'd have more debates, and not host thme on like Saturday night when no one is gonna watch the debate aside from diehards and politiphiles because who would want to admit spending their Saturday night watching 3 white people talk in high rhetoric.

God help the Republicans if anyone but Jeb,Rubio, Christie, or Rand get nominated.

A month away from Iowa. Trump isn't slowing down.

The problem with attacking Carson by saying that he's an idiot, is that he in fact is actually extremely intelligent. So it's not really going to work. He just simply doesn't have a politican's filter and speaks in a weird socially awkward way. The better way to attack him is to just say that he's weird.

Remember that scene in the movie Swordfish where the main character has to hack into a computer while being pleasured? It's like that's what's happening to Carson whenever he speaks.
